I first heard about this book on your site, and have since seen it in a lot of other places from some reputeable sources...seems like a pretty good investment for $79 and lifetime upgrades...I think I'll be adding it to my learning resources here shortly. Thanks for the post.

A lot of people have been scammed by e-books before, including myself. I have bought different e-books on the same subject all saying the same thing, NOTHING I DIDNT KNOW BEFORE. I prefer handsfree systems like my molten marketing site offers.

Hi Brian,

it's me, Alexander, again. With your "Five ways to create Passive Income with little or no money" you gave me a wonderful aha experience. Thats why a couple of months ago I gave you a tip.

You're still me precoius insights on passive income, that's why I want to try to give you back a favour.

You probably know from the SEO book which you've just reviewed, that search engines are getting wise to the technique of RECIPROCAL LINKING and are tending to discount this type of links, which means the technique is becoming less and less effective.

However, there's a new system available now that generates 3-way links. These gives an incredible boost to your ranking and the to the positioning of your most important keywords on all search engines but do not suffer from the disadvantages of reciprocal links.

I had the good luck to be a beta tester of this new system and the results are impressive. take in mind that it is as easy as only signing in your site and choosing the keywords for which you want the incoming links. No coding, no trouble. You don't have to do nothing, only lay back and watch adding from 1 to 8 incoming links every day, up to a total of 250.

Enough said. take a look at this <a href="http://www.3waylinks.net/?id=ottantaventi" rel="nofollow">system</a>. [ Yes, it's a shameless affiliate link, but it costs you nothing to click on and you will NOT be begged to opt in a newsletter or similar. Don't worry its's a harmless link :-) ].

ciao

// I’m skeptical of ebooks because anyone can write a few pages, save it as a pdf, create a marketing page, and rip the rest of us off for whatever they’re charging. //

I hear ya. However, consider:

If the master expert on widget making talks off the top of his head for two hours straight into a tape recorder detailing exactly how I, too, can make widgets for little effort, cost and time...

... Then transcribes the recording and turns it into an ebook...

... And sells it to me, the aspiring widget maker (whose five-year stint of failing to crack the "widget code" has frustrated her no end, I might add)....

... And then I'm up and making widgets two days later....

... Was I ripped off?

As a person who dreams day and night of running her own home-based widget biz and now has the means to do so, I daresay not.

It's the INFORMATION inside the ebook that counts. Does the information suck; yes/no? To make a best guess, do some credibility research. Are the claims in the sales letter backed up with fact? Who wrote the ebook? Are the testimonials clearly faked, or do they look believable? Do they include a few props from well-known established widget makers? Et cetera.

I understand the urge to hate on ebooks. As you note, anyone can write one in just about any time frame. Also, I understand that some folks have a preference for hard copies, or audio, or whatever. But, as with anything, the real concern is the value you're getting. I've purchased how-to books from major publishers not worth the paper they're printed on.

Incidentally, it's also the information that determines the price of the book.

Dis-count ebooks minus a consideration of value and you're missing out. You very well might find an ebook or two that could help you with what you're trying to do here, written by true experts and well worth the prices charged. :)

I feel the same way you do about ebooks, I have bought a few but would rather buy a paperback version. I've heard about this book though and wanted to thank you for the thorough review of it. It sounds like something that could definitely help me out.
