I am a non-US resident and not living in the USA either. How do i get paid then ? A check from the US will not be accepted …

I tried agloco but so many people do it already it is hard to refer more poeple. It is hard to make much money by yourself but at least it is free.

Man, you’re still in the Internet dark ages, amigo. With a java and flash blocker installed and a very selective whitelist, I haven’t seen an ad online in months. If Agloco wants to stay in business for any length of time, they need to offer something better than a few cents for ads.

You know, you don’t need to feel guilty for wanting to make money. Besides, maybe some of your readers are looking for something like this and you could be the one to introduce them.

I try to stick to a policy of honesty. I would feel “dirty” if I was giving out false information in order to make a buck.

I came to this blog to learn about passive income, and this sounds like a great temporary stream of it.

I’m not sure about long-term either…but even if Agloco holds up for 1 year…many will make a good sum of money from it.

I doubt this business model will be sustainable long-term, unless the AGLOCO company is _REALLY GOOD_ at selling their adspace to careless advertisers. Most advertisers will simply find that it’s extremely difficult to achieve a positive ROI through this channel.

Still, I agree it’s worth trying

I agree, Jon. AGLOCO is a wildcard.

The reason I feel comfortable recommending it is that there is really no downside except for giving up a little ad space on your computer for five hours a month, and even that can be turned on and off.

If they were asking people to put up a bunch of money to get in, or somehow spamming or hijacking computers, I wouldn’t mess with it.

But they’re not, so I’m with you: it’s definitely worth a try, and I’m cautiously optimistic.

Gotta love that AGLOCO. I actually first heard about it on John Chow’s blog. I was skeptical at first, but after he wrote about how he made $25,000 from AllAdvantage (the first incarnation of this idea) I realized it was too good to pass up.

If you have a blog, posting about AGLOCO basically grows your network without much work at all.

I can’t wait until the viewbar comes out in mid March and AGLOCO starts generating income.
