Book Giveaway :: Rich Dad, Poor Dad

Congratulations to Ms. Caesi of MsCaesi.com. You are the winner of my biggest prize giveaway to date: A zippered day planner loaded with my Day Planner 2.0!

Ms. Caesi has a beautifully designed blog where she writes about her thoughts and her life.

Thanks to everyone who participated in last week’s giveaway. The winner was randomly chosen using randomizer.org.

This week, I’m giving away a brand new copy of one of the most referenced books on this blog: Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. Entering is easy, and everyone gets a link back!

To enter the drawing, just link to my review of Rich Dad, Poor Dad using the same anchor text as I have used here. Be sure to leave a comment so I don’t miss your link!

You can use the code below if you want: (double or triple click to select all)

<a title="Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki" href="http://geniustypes.com/rich_dad_poor_dad_by_robert_kiyosaki_review/"><em>Rich Dad, Poor Dad</em></a>

Which will produce a link that looks like this:

Rich Dad, Poor Dad

Put the link in any context you want, such as:

Brian Lee is giving away a copy of Rich Dad, Poor Dad over at Genius Types.

If you don’t have a blog, I’ll accept MySpace pages, Squidoo pages, or any other web-based media that you can put a link on.

I’ll give a link back to everyone who enters at the bottom of this post. Just leave a comment with a link to the page where your link is located. Let me know what page you would like me to link to and what anchor text (if any) you want me to use.

I’ll continue to accept entries for approximately one week, or until you see the words “DRAWING CLOSED” at the bottom of this post.

The winner will be randomly selected from a list of the entrants and will get this really great zippered porfolio.

Full Disclosure

This contest is a win-win for everyone. Everyone who enters gets a free link and a chance to win a great book. The links I get will help to give this blog authority in search engines and Technorati rankings.

I am trying to build authority with the keywords “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” so that more people will be able to find my article and ultimately buy the book using my affiliate link.

Good Luck!

What do bloggers get out of it?  The bloggers who link to him (like me) will get a link on his blog. That drives traffic and can help increase your own authority ranking. I’ve been reading his blog, Genius Types, for about a week or so now, and he does have some good blogging tips. If you’re interested in participating, head on over and get the instructions.

The winner of the Brian Lee’s Day Planner 2.0 giveaway contest had been announced, it goes to the lucky Ms Caesi. For his next contest, Brian is giving away a copy of “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki. I am very familiar with this book, it has been on the bestseller list of major bookstores for many years. To be honest, other than reading the book review on newspaper column, I never get down to actually reading it!

I stumbled on this after finishing the book. I think the move to the apartment is genious. Even though the concepts are simple, most people really don’t get a grasp on what they really mean. Good review and good site.
