by Brian Lee on July 16, 2007

This week, I’m giving away a brand new copy of the most exciting book I’ve read in a long time: The 4-Hour Workweek by Timothy Ferris; but first, congratulations to the winner of last week’s book giveaway: Contestant Blog!

Surprisingly enough, someone has an entire blog dedicated to entering blog contests. It paid off this week with a brand new copy of my favorite personal development book of all time: The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.

Randomizer.orgThe winner was randomly chosen using randomizer.org.

How to Enter

This contest is a win-win for everyone. As usual, everyone gets a link back from this pagerank 6 blog for their trouble

To enter the drawing, just link to my review of The 4-Hour Workweek using the same anchor text as I have used here. Be sure to leave a comment so I don’t miss your link!

You can use the code below if you want: (double or triple click to select all)

The 4-Hour Workweek

Which will produce a link that looks like this:

The 4-Hour Workweek

Put the link in any context you want, such as:

Brian Lee is giving away a copy of The 4-Hour Workweek over at Genius Types.

If you don’t have a blog, I’ll accept MySpace pages, Squidoo pages, or any other web-based media that you can put a link on.

I’ll give a link back to everyone who enters at the bottom of this post. Just leave a comment with a link to the page where your link is located. Let me know what page you would like me to link to and what anchor text (if any) you want me to use.

I’ll continue to accept entries for approximately one week, or until you see the words “DRAWING CLOSED” at the bottom of this post.

The winner will be randomly selected from a list of the entrants and will get this really great zippered porfolio.

Full Disclosure

This contest is a win-win for everyone. Everyone who enters gets a free link and a chance to win a great book. The links I get will help to give this blog authority in search engines and Technorati rankings.

I am trying to build authority with the keywords “4-Hour Workweek” so that more people will be able to find my article and ultimately buy the book using my affiliate link.

Good Luck!

Really want to read this. Winning a free copy would do the trick although the mound of ToRead books on my shelf is pretty big already..

Hi Brian

I heard from many bloggers singing the merits of this book on their sites, it surely is a must-read.

Here’s my entry: http://betshopboy.blogspot.com/2007/07/secrets-of-successful-blogging.html

A friend just recommended this book to me and I put it on hold at the library but I suppose owning a copy would be better. Maybe tomorrow I’ll create my entry.

I thought I read in the last few weeks that inbound links were going to have less weight over in googleland – will this type of contest still work?

I know that links work right now. But even if they didn’t, book giveaways are a way for me to give back to my readers.
