The most plausible “laws of attraction” between members of the opposite sex are in the ladder theory. “The Secret” nonsense is more psychobabble that is about as accurate as horoscopes are. “Name it and claim it” theories have been around since the beginning of time. It says that our choices in love life depend on our facial features. But not in the way most people would predict – it is not about beauty.

Not convinced? Try to abolish my theory. Find at least one celebrity couple in the whole world, which would contradict my theory (The No Such Couple Paradox).

This is a well written article about attraction. But based on experience and observation, it’s primarily the guy’s confidence that gets a woman attracted. No matter how good looking of a guy you are, if you do not have confidence, you’re most likely not attractive to most women.

More than 90% of men AND women have as the number 1 thing they find attractive in the opposite sex is something OTHER than looks/appearance. Ugly or handsome, if you want to attract women you must first gain confidence with women, and the more you approach women and talk to women, the more confidence will develop automatically.

It is true what you say about “the harder you try the harder you fail” This is off course if you try hard the wrong way! To be great at picking up women you will need practice but with the right guidance. Don’t read to much online or you will get analysis paralysis and that’s bad. Go out and do it!

I’ve heard the same thing.

Women have always told me that confidence is the number one thing they look for in a prospective dating partner.

We CANNOT attract great relationships that are happy, healthy and full of joy, unless, we are this first. Like attracts like.

Love the last part about know yourself so you can concentrate on giving and not getting.

Another way I heard that is when one person is a violinist who makes beautiful music all by themselves and another person is a pianist who also makes beautiful music all by themselves, but when they come together it’s the music is incredible.
