Is it possible for us to somehow filter out the ‘wire’ posts? I like them but would like them all as one condensed list that I can go through in my spare time. Otherwise they seem to interfere with the other content on the site. Cheers.

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve been experimenting with The Genius Wire as a way of sharing other interesting content that I’ve found valuable; but it hasn’t been received all that well.

Considering the hours that I’m spending searching for content to feed the wire, I might just cut it out all together.

Would it be better if it only came up once a week, or would you rather not see it at all?

OK. I have a confession to make. I’ve never really taken a glance at the Wire. I browse the web via RSS. If a title is interesting, I click and read the article.

I got annoyed because the entire RSS feed had the same title ‘Genius Types Wire #N’ — and the posts seemed off-topic.

I’m going through the Wire now, and the sites you posted are very interesting/entertaining. I wouldn’t mind seeing this once a month. Once a week would be OK if you posted more often (1-2 posts a day), otherwise I think the RSS feed would end up looking ugly again.

One way to improve these lists would be to categorize and put a detailed description or summary of the pages.

Cheers.

That’s what I suspected. I do the same thing when I browse feeds.

Thanks for the great feedback.

I never looked at the genius wire before either – I thought they were ads when I first saw it cluttering up your rss feed but I got curious tonight. Some good links here. And I much appreciate it not clogging up the feed anymore.
