Brian, that is a interesting set of events. One about was shocking!

Your post led me to go to your about brian page. Your life and attitude is truely inspiriting. You have set out what you want to do and taking action about it. No matter whatever set backs we will always reach our goals as long as we get straight back up and try again.

When I found out about passive income around 6 years ago, I was so excited. I quite my programming job and started working in sales to get some skills. I worked myself up from a door sales man selling gas electricity to stock broking. Always wanted to invest in property by the property prices in london is way too high. It wasn't until around the end of 2005 that I found out about earning money online and so started a website, It's providing passive income, and I have quite the long hour stock broking job to do SEO work (9 to 5). Like you said in your other post, working for others knowing you have some alternative income is so much better. I would like to eventually have enough passive income to be able to live a good lifestyle with very little work.

Hi Brian, you'r a lucky *******, lol. Some great stories here. I have felt the dread you describe when your site goes down, it's a feeling that people can't know unless it's happened to them.

Nice blog, i´m 23 and had 2 car accidents and about 2 weeks ago i was hit by a truck when i was on my bike..

It seems when something like this happens it gives me more pioneering thoughts. Maybe its because it gives me a sense of "i don't care what everybody thinks about me" type of feeling.

I just made some radical changes in my business the last two weeks. I was procrastinating the changes because i was thinking about what everybody would think of me when it didn't work out as planned.

Keep up the good work Brian!

Hey Brian,
I enjoyed this post. In particular, your airline commute story... that one is just awe-some! I am curious now about working for an airline. Maybe its a good idea for a future blog post? Your experiences and how it is. The perks etc.
ciao,
Shwin

Thanks, John.

Yeah, I guess I'm not that good at keeping my readers up-to the minute with what's going on. I tend to think more long-term.

Maybe I should install something like Twitter for the more day-to-day stuff.

I've read your blog for a while now and I really enjoy it.

I was glad to read this post because it cleared up my confusion of why your blog had seemed to change so dramatically over the last few weeks. I'm happy to see it back in form since it's an inspiration to me in my own passive income pursuits.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks guys, you're very kind!

As for the Genius Wire, it's actually not a mistake, it's something new I'm trying to keep people interested.

That's quite a life story Brian.

Is that why we've been getting the "Genius Wire"?

I was wondering what was going on with that and the change in the Genius Types layout.

Wow, those are some pretty impressive stories!

Luck is great, determination and a calm demeanor in high-tense situations like you displayed here are better.
