It’s definitely a great book. i read it twice in my semester break. one advice i will like to give is to read this book twice and then read the book How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie. also read 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Covey. you will be on your way to become a leader.

Thank you for keeping Napoleon Hill out there. Reading Think and Grow Rich changed my life. I do find there to be subtle errors in it in regards to the concept of a “burning desire”. When you are too desiring you feel a lack and the “desperate energy” pushes what you want away from you. You can make a definite decision without the neediness. Maybe it’s just my own confusion.

An insightful, and generous, look at the “grandfather of success books”. You could pick up a lot of tips from this article alone….

“The Secret” seems like a scam. A bunch of repackaged, overhyped, and slick-marketing ideas centering around the “Law of Attraction”. It’s fairly worthless and potentially dangerous, focusing on how thinking good thoughts will solve your problems and help you succeed. The actual path to success is to take focused action based on a clear vision of what you want to achieve. It also helps to be prepared, take calculated risks, and to be a little bit lucky.

Think & Grow Rich is a classic, old-school motivational book, good stuff. I read it a few years ago, and I think I’ll pick it up again and see if I can glean any new insights from it.

I really enjoyed listening to the new version’s audiobook. It’s much more accessible that way for me.
