Thanks for your truthful insight.

Entrepreneurship is one of the hardest tasks that I've ever had to assume.

It requires that I step outside the box, peek inside the box, look over the box, and step through the boundaries of the box just to get noticed.

Sales is an integral part of the process...because you've got to sale your vision, your passion and your product or service, first to yourself, and then to others who will hear your story.

...And sales also requires a zest to absorb all those external and internal clues around us...and then look at each piece separately and as a whole to determine our next best step.

And while entrepreneurship IS hard work...for me, it's worth every minute of it.

Thanks for sharing!

You really force people to look their demons in the face! You hit the nail on the head with this article. Most people do hate selling -- including me -- and would rather do a root canal than talk to people. But it's the people who take the risks that make the money.

Of course, me being a hustler, I really liked this quote from you:

"Business owners not only have to hustle, they have to do the dirty work..."

I see interested sentences, "Most people are not willing to get out of their comfort zone". I also see in my life many people don't take any action because of their fear or they try it but fail most of the time.

The true winner for my opinion is the one who failed many times but will wake up again since they have visualize their own goal into desire to take action again and again.

I totally agree you, Brian. By definition best-seller books are best-seller because many, many people buy it. Yet, very few of them get to the level written in those books. Reading books or attending seminars is one thing, but actually *paying the price* to apply it is another thing. It is paying the price that makes all the difference.

Hi Brian,

You make good points about these issues but I'm discovering that the thing that separates the successes from the failures is single-mindedness of purpose. I see plenty of people work hard but they are scattered. They do too many things and have too many goals and directions. As a result, they accomplish a little bit of everything because they work hard, but in the final analysis, it doesn't amount to much because they didn't cultivate a laser-sharp focus on the one thing they wanted.

I agree with you point. Success is far from a big mystery, but it takes a lot of hard work over a long period of time. Most people don't succeed, not because they can't, but because they don't really want to. To them, living laid back, easy lives is more enjoyable than actively pursuing a goal.

Not caring about success is totally fine. It's all about what works for you. Being a success isn't worth doing if it doesn't make you happy. In fact, I think success gets too much praise. The world needs people who can be happy without being successful.
